The 50th Anniversary of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on October 29 will also mark the unveiling of Burger’s new motor yacht- The 151’, SYCARA IV. The 151’, SYCARA IV which will be making its world debut at this show is sure to be the show stopper. All design credit goes to naval Architect Bruce King who developed the hull lines and acclaimed Yacht Designer Ken Freivokh who worked with the owner and led the Burger Design Team to develop the interior and exterior designs. The exterior styling comprising of teak and white painted paneling is the perfect complement to the classy interiors. The interior consists of beautifully detailed Madrone Burl raised wall panels enhanced with inlaid Macassar Ebony and accented with Paduak molding which contrasts with fresh glossy white painted surfaces. The teak and Sycamore flooring is decorated with beautiful wool carpeting. The door surrounds and featured cabinet pieces are exquisitely adorned with polished stainless steel detailing.
The Main salon is a place for entertainment with lounge furniture and a leather upholstered bar surrounded with custom crafted stainless steel bar stools. The Dining room is another beautiful space where one can marvel at the lovely French doors or glance through them to view the beautiful scene outside. The main deck Owners suite will surely please the boat’s owner with its king size bed and leather nightstands and desks as well as the lavish bath that boasts of a White Onyx floor, countertop and showers and a door inset with Lalique Crystal panels. Besides the master bedroom, there are three other guestrooms that are equally luxurious. The Captain’s and Crew cabins and baths continue the elegance of the Art Deco Era with white painted raised panel walls and contrasting Mahogany beams, raised panel doors and trim. Besides this the SYCARA IV also has formal and informal dining areas, a spa tub, lounge seating and sun bathing options.
After her final fit-out SYCARA IV will travel to her owner’s home port and then on to the 2009 Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show for her world debut.
