After Phoenix based Rizk Auto has done its fair share of refurbishment on the 1957 Aston Martin DBR2, it is Florida based Elite Auto, which is taking a pitch at the Aston Martin LMV/R. Elite is producing 30 versions of their Le Mans Vantage Racer with loads of carbon fiber all throughout the body. Until now, every body drooled over Vantage V12 which is indisputably, one of the best cars around, however this model is based on the 2010 Aston Martin Vantage model. The body kit comprises of visible carbon canards, a new front bumper, a carbon front splitter, a menacing hood, wider fenders, side skirts, rear quarter panel extensions, a carbon trunk lid with visible carbon rear wing and a rear bumper with carbon diffuser.
Other non-fiber upgrades are constituted by revised exhaust, big brake kit, lowering springs, terrific 20 inch matte black wheels and the commonplace Alacantara interior. But with a cost of $173,000 over the price of the vantage, I don’t know where it’s heading.
