The $1.4 million LaFerrari Hypercar is already sold out

There’s very little doubt that the Ferrari’s latest flagship, the LaFerrari, is the hottest car that was unveiled this year. The hypercar with a slightly odd name has enough reasons to be deemed as the pinnacle of automotive engineering and took us very little effort to slot it at the top position of the top 5 supercars of the future list we recently did. Ferrari plans to build only 499 units and hasn’t revealed the official release date yet, but as per reports, all the units of the $1.4 million Ferrari has already been sold out. Ferrari started accepting orders at the start of this year and by the end of the year, all the 499 units have been booked.

The successor to the iconic Enzo Ferrari, the LaFerrari is the fastest and the most powerful Ferrari to be ever made. For the first time, the Italian marquee has adopted hybrid technology for the hypercar. Though a lot of figures are yet to be confirmed by Ferrari but what we do know is that the super hybrid will produce around 949 hp with a 6.3-Liter V12 coupled with an electric motor. Ferrari claims that the hypercar can sprint from 0-62mph in under 3 seconds and will do a top speed to over 217mph. We are still waiting for it to do a round of the nurburgring as it’s expected to break the previous record held by its arch rival, the McLaren P1.
