Iride, the Maserati of bicycles comes to NYC

Thanks to cycling enthusiast Brian Miller, who has introduced New York to the Maserati of bicycles, Iride (pronounced as Erie-day). Quite convinced with the performance and quality, Brian imported the Italian origin Iride brand to discerning New York cyclists. He is now the Design Director and sole importer of Iride bicycles. The Iride bikes are high-performance-based bicycles, among the few manufactured in Italy. Molded with precision, passion, and endurance, Iride is the handcrafted creation by Carlo Gemmati, the fourth-generation brand owner. A fusion between a classic urban roadster and a high-performance racing bike, Iride bicycles are strong and incredibly light.

Iride’s Monello single-speed roadster is worth $2,190, and Volatore 18-speed roadster $2,590. Iride also has a range of higher-performance bikes as the Bici Pista fixed-gear track bike, priced at $2,490. It also has a raw track frame, which permits you to custom create your very own dream bike! The Iride bicycles, though manufactured in Italy, are available through its US-based website: irideusa.com, at Chari and Co. in Manhattan and Ride Brooklyn, NYC and select stores in New York. However, with strong competitors as Mercedes Benz, BMW Group Designworks USA, Colnago’s Ferrari CF8 already present in the market, we can only wish Iride the best!
