Love Macaroons? Then the Renault Twingo Pierre Hermé edition is just for you


If you love macarons then you would have surely heard and tried the creations of Pierre Hermé. The world-renowned pastry chef has been satisfying the sweet tooth cravings of its patrons in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. But it was in 1998 that Pierre Hermé opened his first boutique and it was not in Paris or London but in Tokyo. 20 years later he has collaborated with Renault Japan for a limited edition car. You heard that right, a total of 100 would be made and since the Japanese love Pierre so much they will be allocated based on a lottery system. The lucky winners will get their hands on a special edition Renault Twingo, the hatchback would be available in two colors (50 each) – Blanc Crystal (White) and Blue Nocturn (Blue) which are popular macaroon flavors. The cars get themed seat covers based on popular macarons as well.

In addition to the car, the buyers get a macaroon bag and coin case that have been specially created by Renault and Pierre Hermé. Bookings are open at 2.12 million Yen (approx $ 20,000).
