Mercedes-Benz B180 Northern Lights Black Limited is only for Japan

It looks like Japan has still not lost its charm in being one among the largest markets for luxury goods. Though it was dethroned by China in 2011 (from its second position), the market still looks promising. No wonder, we have opulent brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Alfa Romeo (among numerous others) coming up with limited editions just for Japan. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new offering for the ‘land of the rising sun’, the “B180 Northern Lights Black Limited” vroomer, which is a special limited edition of only 250 cars. The new entrant has been based on the B180, and is exclusive to Japan like the C63 AMG Performance Studio Edition and the G550 Night Edition.

The new B180 Northern Lights Black Limited is a multi-purpose compact car that is an entry-level class B, which combines functionality with style. The exteriors flaunt a new body color, which projects an ultra-modern look with seductive curves that lure. The interiors boast of a memory full power seat, seat heating, reverse-engineered door mirrors, and rear apron sheets specially designed for the back seat. Additional features include mounted bi-xenon headlights and headlight washers, LED driving lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, easy-vario plus, and an active parking assist—all for a price tag of 3.36 million yen (approx. $ 33,400).
