Mercedes unveils two new special editions of luxury cars


After the top down convertible range, The 2010 Detroit car show saw the launch of two new models by Mercedes, the SL ‘Night Edition’ and SLK ‘Grand Edition’ special editions. Both the cars can be purchased by order. The ‘Night Edition’ will feature an optional special matt black finish, 19-inch AMB five-spoke light-alloy wheels in a two-tone, high-gloss finish, silver-painted front brake calipers, a darkened Mercedes-Benz emblem and darkened headlamps/tail-lamps. The interiors will spot black nappa leather with contrasting chrome accents giving it a black-silver look. The seats will have a new design accentured with arrow-shaped seams and silver contrasting look.

The ‘Grand Edition’ cars will feature a special graphite paint finish, 18-inch light-alloy wheels styled with triple five spokes, silver fins on the hood, painted headlamp housings and a color-matched third brake light. The interiors will spot grey nappa leather finish and similar seat to that of the ‘Night Edition’.
