According to a report by AutoTelegraaf, The Rolls Royce 100EX convertible by now is sold out for the first two years, even before it hasn’t even entered production. The first 100EX convertibles are expected to roll off the line in the middle of next year. Two years ago, Rolls-Royce unveiled the 100EX concept car at the Geneva Motor Show, though there were no plans to produce the series then. Designed to commemorate 100 years of Rolls-Royce as well as look ahead to what’s in store for the future, the 100EX is an ambitious reinvention of the early 20th-century luxury convertible. Wearing the same imposing face as the Phantom sedan, the 100EX uses a body that’s both shorter and lower than the sedan in order to convey a more realistic sense of athleticism. An aluminum space frame keeps it lightweight yet stiff, while a 16-cylinder engine assures plenty of instantaneous thrust at any speed. The nautical-themed interior sports teak floors, dark leather, and enough room for four adults to sit comfortably.
