A one of its kind Ruby-studded Rolls-Royce Phantom to go on sale in Abu Dhabi

A very limited edition or let’s say ‘limited to one’ Rolls-Royce will soon roll into the showroom of Abu Dhabi Motors in the United Arab Emirates soon. The bespoke Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe called the ‘Ruby Limited Edition’ is as the name suggests, inspired by the beauty and natural energy of rubies, and will feature prominently throughout the vehicle design. The Ruby was chose for its rarity, historical significance and symbolic power which complements the Rolls-Royce’s style and glamour making them a bespoke fit.

Conceptualized by Kadhim Al Helli, Rolls Royce brand manager at Abu Dhabi Motors and hand-crafted at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, the vehicle will take on its Ruby shade right from the exterior in a Merlot Red Mica color, with interiors fitted out in twin tones of Seashell (white) and Mugello Red. The red and white theme continues with Marine White hand-selected wood and Seashell star lights contrasting against Mugello Red seat piping and Consort Red carpets and foot mats in addition to Lambswool mats.

More Ruby Marquetry inlays decorate the fascia, front and rear headrests, while other bespoke finishing’s include a personalized clock with a cut ruby stone inlay, illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy, personalized tread plates graphics and a twin coach line in Seashell with an integrated “ruby” logo. The Rolls-Royce Ruby also features a personally embroidered glove box, with the description “Ruby motif – one of one.”

The vehicle was designed as part of Rolls-Royce Bespoke Program, a service offered to Rolls-Royce clients whereby the client may specify features of the car, in order to create their own unique model. Last year a number of unique bespoke models were conceptualized by Al Helli. These included the Rolls-Royce Phantom Venus, Phantom Rayyan, Phantom Coupe Mirage, Ghost Firnas and the Rolls-Royce Andalusia to be launched this year.

Several bespoke models were also launched exclusively for Abu Dhabi including The Rolls-Royce Yas Eagle, Arizona Sun or its Phantom Bespoke Gulf Collection.

Abu Dhabi Motors and Abu Dhabi has remained the company’s biggest market in the world for Rolls-Royce vehicle sales during the first half of 2013, edging out markets such as Beijing, New York, London and Moscow.

This one is sure to dazzle on the streets.
