Exactly six decades back, a group of Porsche enthusiasts in the United States established the Porsche Club of America. In celebration of its 60th anniversary, Stuttgart has released a limited edition 911 model named the GTS Club Coupe, which is not only exclusively for the USA but is only being offered to the members of the club. To keep the limited edition extra special, only 60 examples will be built, one for each year of the club’s existence. Priced from $136,060, not including a destination charge of $995, the GTS Club Coupe carries a $20,865 premium over the regular, rear-wheel drive 911 GTS upon which it is based sharing the same 424hp (430PS) 3.8-liter flat-six that can be paired to a standard 7sp manual or the optional 7sp dual-clutch PDK transmission.
The special edition Club Coupe is painted in a unique “Club Blau” color created specifically for this edition. Additionally, it features a number of upgrades including the SportDesign package that adds a more pronounced front fascia, different side mirrors, a “ducktail” rear spoiler and 20-inch Sport Classic wheels finished in semi-gloss black with polished centers. For those seeking even more club-themed appointments, an optional Extended Club Coupe Package offers a vehicle key painted in the same Club Blau hue, a leather key pouch and leather-trimmed floor mats, both with Carmine Red and blue contrast stitching, plus a personalized blue car cover. 59 out of the 60 cars will go on sale and the last one will be given away to one lucky Porsche Club of America winner, with full details of the giveaway to be announced February 1 at the official PCA website.
