Courtesy of Mr Porter a popular men’s fashion retailer BMW’s all electric i3 is about to get a debonair makeover. Under the hood the limited edition i3 will still pack the same 170 bhp electric motor that will whizz it from 0 to 62 mph in under 7.2 seconds. Its the styling both inside and outside that will draw inspiration from men’s bespoke tailoring. According to WWD “the design teams from Mr Porter and BMW i utilized a capparis white accent running along the chassis of the car. The interior was designed in a dark oak wood in a range of tones and grains. Floor mats feature white stitching details and Dalbergia brown piping.” A first of its kind collaboration for both the companies the car will come with a Mr Porter travelling kit, a Leica C camera and a host of others accessories for the ‘perfect gentleman’.
The Mr Porter limited edition BMW i3 will be available in UK only from Feb 18th for 42,770 GBP ($ 62,900) and may hit other markets in the future.
