The best of all worlds – Ducati XDiavel power cruiser motorcycle unveiled

When we first set eyes on the XDiavel Cruiser, it couldn’t be clearer to us that the brand from Italy has got it just right. That tectonic phase-shift from making sports bikes to a cruiser isn’t marred by even an ounce of lapsed judgment in terms of design consistency or treatment to aesthetics. The cruiser enters as Ducati’s novel effort to show the world that Italian stallions can cruise just as well.

The XDiavel is said to ensure the low speed excitement that is expected of a cruiser. At the same time it maintains the ability to amplify the adrenaline rush that a full-blown racer can deliver. The bike is designed to give the rider a relaxing experience even on long rides, something that is characteristic to any cruiser. It is driven by a 1262 cc twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta DVT Euro-4 type-approved engine. You can be assured of power up to 156 bhp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 128 Nm. The 40-degree incline and the launch control system remains from the original XDiavel, while the easy riding posture has taken precedence in the build of this cruiser.

The cruiser arrives ahead of the 2015 EICMA show in Milan.
