The Porsche 911 R arrives at the Geneva Motor Show in a limited edition

Considered to be among the world’s most desirable cars, the Porsche 911 series receives the all-new 911 R with a six-speed manual gearbox for the purist in you. The Geneva Motor Show played host to the unveiling of the car that came right after the Bugatti delight.

The design of the 911 R is inspired from the classics with the racing stripes forming a geometrically perfect mark along the body. While the car may seem big to some, it weighs just 1,370 kilograms, which makes it light and agile. This makes it the lightest 911 variant at the moment. It is powered by a 4-liter, flat-six engine that produces 500 PS and 460 Nm of torque. A rear diffuser on under the bumper offsets the loss of rear downforce. The car is a rear-drive pleasure through and through with 15.4-inch carbon-ceramic disk brakes at the rear and 16.1-inch ones in the front. It can go from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and can scale up to a maximum speed of 200 mph.

The interiors are wrapped in dark brown leather with a carbon fiber trim. The comfortable bucket seats have Pepita tartan upholstery with exclusive 911 R plaques on the side sills. It also comes with a Sport Chrono package fitted. On the outside, the aforementioned stripes commence on the bonnet of the car, flanked by smoked headlamps.
