China is one country that has managed to mark its name on anything and everything available under the sun. Here is another pioneering travel innovation from them. A Chinese manufacturer, named Zhejiang Young Man Vehicle Group, introduced the 82 feet long “Superliner” at Shanghai’s Busworld Asia 2007 convention. Using two uses two accordion joints, the bus has five doors, 40 seats, carries up to 300 passengers and, according to a driver, “is flexible when cornering.” This eye-catching “red dragon” with a top speed of 82 km/h does come at a high price – between US$155,000 to $258,000 – compared to the common bus that ranges between US$80,000 to $100,000.
However it’s supposed that that this bus is only going to be used for traveling between in Beijing and Hangzhou.
