The grandeur of Eclipse eclipsed the other yacht’s so much so that today we are hardly aware of the yachts that came in a close second to the Eclipse. So there is no question that folks would have an idea about the yacht that holds the title of being the world’s sixth largest yacht. Originally commissioned by the Oracle billionaire from Germany based Lurssen shipyard in 2004, the 456 ft. mega yacht which cost approximately $250 million to build, now solely belongs to the music magnate after he purchased it form co-owner Larry Ellison. Powered by four MTU 20V 8000 M90 diesel engines that churn a combined output of 50,000 hp, this yacht moves along at a speed of up to 28 knots.
