A French business class only airline is offering a $40k monthly pass for flights between Paris and New York

Either you must be a wander luster with an insatiable appetite for all things Parisian, or a business owner with a frequent need to be transited to the city, for La Compagnie’s exclusive transatlantic pass to make any sense to you. The “business class only” airline is now offering an unlimited pass for flyers between New York and Paris, that apart from the free travel also offers a premium experience to passengers, complete with neat boarding, deplaning and luxurious offering to die for.

As part of the deal, the airline will roll out 10 unlimited annual passes that will be up for grabs on a first-come-first serve basis. Per Jean Charles Perino, Cofounder and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at La Compagnie, “Operating at more than a 76 percent load factor, La Compagnie successfully doubled occupancy on the New York to Paris route in 2017 to provide travelers with more flexibility,”. This clearly means rolling profits for the airline. What’s worth checking though, is your own good in buying a pass that will cost you $40k in one single go!

Some clever math unveils, that you’d need to fly back and forth on the charted route at least once each month, to get your money’s worth on the deal (round trips between NY and Paris cost up to $1500 with La Compagnie). The “L’Unlimited” Pass, thus, is great only for the limited cluster that hops away to the French capital ever so often!
