Abu Dhabi at set to be the next biggest luxury holiday location of the world


If you do plan to take a luxury vacation then do try to add the Middle East, more specifically the deserts of Abu Dhabi. The location promises a world of luxury hotels. These include the “seven-star” Burj Al Arab, the Burj Khalifa, the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, the Yas hotel and the more recent Al Gharbia’s, the Rub al Khali (Empty Quarter) just to name a few. If you are the adventurous kind, there are safaris to enjoy too. The Sir Bani Yas Island which received a £2 billion transformation has been converted into a luxury hotel by the Thai hotel group Anantara. Here you can enjoy include mountain biking, archery, Arab cooking classes and a spa, along with a wildlife safari.

The safari includes animal the Arabian oryx, sand gazelles, black buck, giraffe, cheetah and hyenas. On the cost front a double room at the Yas Hotel starts at $233. Rooms at the Anantara Desert Islands Resort & Spa start at $465 and rooms at the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort start at $560.
