Airbnb offers a slumber party with Mona Lisa

Louvre museum, the world’s largest art collection, is a mandatory mention when we discuss art or Paris. Today, it is home to thousands of classic and modern masterpieces, the Louvre is the icing on the cake of French culture and a testament to European art history – it’s not surprising that it’s also the most visited art gallery in the world.

The Louvre museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary by partnering with Airbnb to give away a one night stay to one lucky winner and a guest. The makeshift bedroom for two will be located in a small specially made glass pyramid inside of the much-larger pyramid outside the museum. They will be able to take a private tour of the Louvre with an art historian. Then, they’ll be taken into a private pop-up dining room where the Mona Lisa and the statue of Venus of Milo will be waiting to dine with them. Finally, the guests will be treated to an intimate acoustic concert in Napoleon III’s lavish chambers.
