A whopping £550,000 ($890,000) is the price for the five-seat Royal Albert Hall box, which Harrods Estate claim is the ‘perfect gift for a loved one’. The hall is situated in South Kensington and was opened by Queen Victoria in 1871. The box comes for an 865-year lease but is not inclusive of a £600 annual service charge on each seat. This sale allows people to share ambience with the rich and famous. The seat is perched on the second tier on the eastern side of the auditorium and is apparently the only one out of 1,300 that still has its original timber veneer and mirrored panels.
