China’s largest cruise ship was recently flagged off and has been grabbing headlines ever since. Christened the “Henna”, this super-large mass of extreme luxury made its maiden voyage, travelling from Sanya to Vietnam’s Halong Bay. The ship, in all its glory, measures 223 meters in length and 31 meters, wide. to commemorate the maiden voyage, a celebration was also held at the Sanya Phoenix Island International Cruise Terminal on the 26th of January, before the ship began its first journey.
The Henna packs 739 cabins, complete with all the luxuries you’d look for while at sea. Capable of accommodating 1,965 passengers at a time, this ship also includes restaurants, duty-free shops, theatres, a SPA center, banquet hall, multi-purpose conference room, chess & cards room, children’s care center, gym and swimming pool. With a variety of cruise packages and one-stop services available, the Henna is certainly a great way to experience life at sea!
