Orlando may get a Ferrari park

Like the Great Wall of China, someday in the near future, when you look down from space on to earth, you could see red blotches with a striking yellow spot in the centre. Ferrari World is expanding. After opening its first theme park in 2010 at the Yas Marina Islands in Abu Dhabi, it announced a second one in Spain, designed by PortAventura Resorts, and a third one in mainland China. And now they have announced a fourth branch – in North America. Details are not known though, not even which country it will come up in. Speculations are high on Las Vegas or Orlando. Las Vegas because it is minimal in family theme parks. Orlando has Disney, which could be where the theme park decides to feel at home, or even Universal, which recently bought some 450 acres of land in Orlando.

Anyway, details will soon be out, so fret not. Ferrari is moving from its reputation as just an automaker and racing team, and reimaging as a luxury lifestyle brand.
