Qantas Airways flights may feature meditation zones, in-flight cafes, and even exercise bikes

Customer feedback in an essential part of any industry and especially so when it comes to aviation. The airfares paid by flyers, in turn, create a demand for a level of comfort that can only justify the hefty sums extended. Understanding this very need while also incorporating it in practice is Qantas Airways that may soon include meditation zones, a healthy café and even exercise bikes on its long-haul flights! Yes, that’s right!

The move is propelled by a recent survey that was conducted by the airlines to identify what it is that the fliers actually want to see on a Qantas airplane. Titled Project Sunshine, the examination revealed some bizarre and some downright legit demands, the most popular of which include a request for meditation/Zen zones, exercise bikes, in-flight cafes serving healthy food and most important of all – a need for noise canceling headphone to once and for all spare us the horror of wailing babies and loud co-passengers!
