The Harry Potter mania now hits New York city’s Metropolitan Museum of Art

J.K. Rowling gave us a legend with the Harry Potter series and there are no two ways about it. And here to make you re-live a part of the fantastic fable yet again is Evan Levy, the founder of e.t.c events who recently organized a Potter-Inspired tour inside one of the country’s most iconic museums – the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art).

Named the ‘Griffins, Goblets, and Gold’, the tour is specially designed to provide visitors an immersive journey through the corridors and hidden rooms of the museum in a live Hogwarts-like fashion. Attendees get to walk into the balcony and staircase of a real castle, while they search for horcruxes, and take part in various art activities and fun games. One such engaging event includes a mini visual scavenger hunt, wherein visitors will get to spot animals that represent each of the four houses from the book. Levy has purposefully created these tours ‘to show people things through a new lens’. Her endeavor stands to make museums more immersive, less about questions and answers, and more about having an actual experience.

The exciting tour is open for all ages and starts at $ 25 for children and $35 for adults. Levy also plans to start a two-part tour based on the creatures from both the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, where day one will include a walk through the Met, and day two will have attendees visit the Museum of Natural History for a real-life experience. Can’t wait to get to the Met!
