This is how Zaha Hadid will design the worlds largest airport passenger terminal in Beijing

The concept design for the world’s largest airport passenger terminal at Beijing’s new airport terminal building in Daxing is now complete and ready for execution. A joint design team bringing together ADPI and Zaha Hadid Architects have drawn up the plans of this terminal which boasts of being the biggest in the world.

zaha-hadid-beijing-airport-terminal-2With Beijing’s existing Capital Airport bursting at its seams, this new airport will take the load of the old airport and offer better connections and connectivity around the globe. It will have the capacity to hold more than the current 45 million passengers per year. Its integrated multi-modal transport centre will have direct links to local and national rail services thus making it easier for the passengers to travel and connect to cities within China.
