Audemars Piguet had already introduced us to the brilliance of their watch-making through its Royal Oak Limited Edition watch commemorating the comanys 40th Anniversary. It has now unveiled the Extra Thin Royal Oak Tourbillon 41mm in tribute to the sports watch launched by the company in 1972. The stunning watch features an ultra thin case and a Calibre 2924 movement that measures just 4.46mm thick. The Royal Oak case includes three-quarter bridge on the underside, reminiscent of the one appearing on the first extra-thin selfwinding tourbillon model.
The Audemars Piguet Extra Thin Royal Oak Tourbillon in 41mm fitted with the 216-part Calibre 2924 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and is facilitated with a 70-hour power reserve. The 41-mm diameter case is 8.85 mm thick and is water resistant up to 50 meters.
