Baselworld 2017 is a still a couple of weeks away, but Breguet is getting head start over the completion by debuting their Breguet Tradition Dame 7038. This is the first of hopefully many watches that will comprise the Tradition collection and while it does boast some subtle bling, it’s less about the glam and more about precision and technical beauty.
The 18kt rose gold, measuring 37mm boasts a bezel set with 68 brilliant-cut diamonds and a crown set with a watch movement jewel. The watch has lugs welded with screw bars and two sapphire crystals to show off the Swiss automatic Breguet in-house caliber 505SR movement which is complete with 38 jewels, and serves up a power reserve of 50 hours. The watch is water resistant to 30 m.
The dial is natural white mother-of-pearl, engine-turned Clou de Paris hobnailing and offset at 12 o’clock. It comes on a white alligator leather strap with an 18kt rose gold buckle.
