Bulgari’s new smartwatch is called the Diagono [email protected] and it’s more than just an ornament for your wrist. Bulgari collaborated with MasterCard and WISeKey to create what they call the first ever “intelligent mechanical luxury watch” which will be equipped with payment capabilities.
WISeKey’s cyber security technology will enable users of the intelligent watch to make payments at over four million retail locations in 74 countries around the world. Secure access functions embedded in the Diagono [email protected] allows watch users to unlock the BVLGARI Vault Application, which protects personal digital assets encrypted on consumer devices by storing encrypted replicas of them in a secure cloud buried in a Swiss military bunker. Your vital information is quite literally hidden away in the Alps.
