Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical Watch is surely unique

A vision of Vianney Halter, the Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Watch was made a reality by Jean-François Ruchonnet of the DMC Group. The unique watch is offered in a variety of styles, each with a signature chain/cog/triple drum digital layout. The different cases offered include the titanium, yellow gold, or rose gold. There is even also a diamond-encrusted case for those looking to add a touch of sparkle to this unique design. A wristwatch built around a winch-driven chain fusee movement, it has a tiny 450 link chain and nickel silver drums; altogether there are 1,352 separate components. This design is definitely a piece of art for your wrists.

Two rotating drums indicate the time, while further drums show power reserves. You can wind the watch using the glorious little capstans. These handmade watches are surely exclusive with just 4 watches being produced every month. Last years the production was sold out in a short time and this year too, it promises to have the same fate. Priced between $275,000–$400,000 depending on style, this watch is definitely not for all.
