Harry Winston unveils four new watches


American jewelry and watch brand, Harry Winston, recently unveiled four new timepieces: a Midnight Minute Repeater, an Ocean Tourbillon MT, a Project Z6 Blue Edition and an Ocean Sport Chronograph Blue Dial. All the four watches will be available for purchase in September.

Minute Repeater

The Minute Repeater flaunts a specially designed dial in black and white that makes the hands that indicate the hours, quarters and minutes clearly visible. Even with an excentered dial, time can be easily read. It is offered in a limited edition of 40 pieces, 20 in 18ct rose gold and the remaining 20 in 18ct white gold. The watch runs on the Harry Winston calibre HW1006.

Ocean Tourbillon GMT

The Ocean Tourbillon GMT in white gold or rose gold, has an all-black dial with a tourbillon positioned at six o’clock. This tourbillon partially covers dual-time zone displays. The watch also indicates day and night. This too is a limited edition of 100 units – 50 in white gold and the others in rose gold.

Project Z6 Blue Edition

The Project Z6 Blue Edition is the latest offering from Harry Winston’s Project Z series. Its with this series that a new material called Zalium got introduced to the market. The light, harder than titanium, non-allergic and anti-corrosion resistant material, is an aerospace-type zirconium alloy. Sporting an all-blue dial, the watch has two overlapping discs – one which shows time, and the other an alarm.

Ocean Sport Chronograph Blue Dial

Last but not the least is the Ocean Sport Chronograph Blue Dial, which is an updated version of the Ocean Sport Chronograph. The watch boasts of a deep smoked blue sapphire dial, has a Zalium case, black DLC-treated automatic movement with skeletonized chronograph module, Super Luminova-enhanced hands and a skeletonized date disc at the 12 o’clock position. It runs on a 42-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 200 metres.
