Another luxury watch making brand turns a golden new year for one of its well revered watches, and has decided to celebrate the mile stone in style. As the 1931 Reverso from Jaeger-LeCoultre turns 80, the company has unveiled limited edition version of the classic watch for the US markets only. The unsigned and unnumbered watches feature the “original typeface for the “Reverso” font at 12:00” and a colored glowing dial markers with point tip hands.
The specialty of these 100-pieces only lies in the watch strap. They come with a custom made and hand sewn leather strap created by the Argentina-based Fagliano family who specialize in making polo boots. The straps will be stamped with the text “1931-2011”. This US special watch is priced at $7,250 each.
