It’s not every day that MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) releases a limited edition set of 25 chronographs, and so the delightful new interpretation of its Horological Machine No 2 designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht has to be something special. The Girard-Perregaux caliber movement is made up of 349 parts which includes a blued 22-karat gold winding rotor, which has drawn its inspired from the profile of a Norse battle axe jewels. The mother-of pearl features minutely decorated bridges and plates which gleam with beveling, Cotes de Geneve patterns, and circular graining decoration. The chronograph features a sapphire crystal and titanium case-back.
Available in Pink gold or white gold, the watch has a 30 meter water resistance, 36 hour power-reserve and features an Alligator strap with ardillon buckle. The watch is tentatively priced at $100,000. The stunning watch will be packed in a sophisticated box created in a combination of leather and aluminum.
