In an effort to combine jewelry with haute horology, high jewelry giant Harry Winston has crafted a scintillating timepiece that channels effortless luxe. Called ‘Mrs. Winston High Jewelry Timepiece’, it pays haute homage to Mr. Harry Winston and his beloved wife, Edna, dazzling with her personal style and over 400 diamonds.
“If I could, I would attach diamonds directly onto a woman’s skin,” said the iconic Mr. Winston. It would be safe to say that he almost has with this ravishing creation. Handcrafted in platinum and diamonds, the timepiece is hand set with more than 47 carats of the world’s finest diamonds. It joins the exclusive league of Ultimate Adornments High Jewelry Collection, which consists of exquisite designs that recall all of the world’s unique adornments.
The watch took 440 hours to create and its 18-karat white gold dial comes set with 144 brilliant-cut diamonds. Housed within a marquise-shaped platinum case, its inconspicuously intricate form oozes ultimate opulence. The bracelet is adorned by 230 fancy-shaped diamonds, of which the baguette-cut diamonds dot the outer edges while a mixture of pear, marquise and brilliant cut diamonds graces the delicate bars of platinum. The piece is set with only the highest quality diamonds, D, E, F in color, and VS+ in clarity and animated by a cool quartz movement.
