It’s about time we saw Ferrari and the Movado Group fulfill their promise about the Scuderia Ferrari watch collection, announcement to which they had made a year back. And rightly so, the duo has stuck to their word, materializing their promise, launching the collection at the ongoing BaselWorld in Switzerland. As the Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari paid homage to LaFerrari, here’s the Scuderia Ferrari Orologi line of watches tipping its hat to Scuderia’s racing cars – Ferrari GT and Formula One cars and drawing inspiration from them. This includes features like scratch-resistant sapphire crystal surfaces, advanced construction, and Swiss-made movements.
So also, Ferrari’s racing team’s signature color and superluminous red dials allow readability in low-light. The line consists of six lines, the names of which have also been motorsport-inspired. They are Pit Crew, Lap Time, Race Day, Paddock, Scuderia, and Heritage watches.
