New Harry Winston Premier Feathers timepiece is glorified with pheasant and peacock feathers

Nelly Saunier is back and accompanying her repeat foray into the world of Harry Winston is yet another issue of the brand’s Premier Feathers collection. After the success of Harry Winston’s Premier Feathers Baselworld edition, the gifted master plumassière has yet again joined hands with the brand in another attempt to combine the eponymous opulence of Harry Winston with her rare breed of craftsmanship. Result: three exquisite models issued in limited production featuring marquetry created with fine bird feathers. Belonging to an authorized species, birds are specifically bred for this purpose, and their feathers help perpetuate the ancestral ornamental art. Among the creations unveiled comes the ref. PRNQHM36WW008, the dial of which is adorned by marquetry of purple and turquoise pheasant and peacock feathers.

A 36 mm-diameter 18-karat white gold case set with 66 brilliant-cut diamonds holds this miniature work of art. Not just that, a piece of history is ensconced in this bejeweled ornament as three iconic arches amalgamate to evoke the neoclassical façade of the Harry Winston flagship salon in New York City.

The dial’s diamond-set crown adds a charismatic touch. The elegant artistry of the timepiece is further enhanced by a quartz movement teamed with a plum satin strap echoing the main dial color.

Needless to say, this is not for the faint at heart or the shallow- in the pocket. It, however, is a modern-day marvel that displays time and makes time stand still, all in a single breath.
