There has always been a much deeper connection between Omega and James Bond. Recently Omega has again been in the limelight because of the latest 007 movies `Casino Royale’. On November 25, OMEGA opened the largest boutique in Osaka’s most fashionable street Midosuji. Ms. Caterina Murino, from the latest 007 movies Casino Royale’ was the special guest of the event. Murino plays Solange, a villain’s discontented wife who spends a lusty evening with Bond, played by Daniel Craig. To commemorate the occasion, she arrived wearing a gold Constellation Iris. She also mentioned that she was ‘happy to be in Japan for the first time and was very excited to see the beautiful and elegant boutique which is exactly the image she has of OMEGA.’
Ms. Murino and the 100 guests, including Japanese celebrities, enjoyed the Casino Royale evening playing roulette and card magic. This is the biggest and the 5th Omega flagship store among Tokyo(Ginza), Osaka(Umeda), Fukuoka(Tenjin), and Tokyo(Aoyama). About 300 Omega watches and Omega bijoux will always be available at the shop. Rare limited editions timepieces will also be available.
