Piaget launches the Altiplano Skeleton timepiece for Only Watch 2011


As the world gears up to buy rare and one off watch for a noble cause at the ‘Only Watch 2011,’ charity auction, we give you a peak at what the big brands are putting up on offer. For this year, Piaget is putting up a stunning one-of-a-kind Altiplano Skeleton timepiece for the first time ever. The watch is set in an 18-carat white cold case done up in black PVD treatment that sports “Polished Dauphine hands with pink gold finishing and accents“.

The watch is powered by the Piaget 838P ultra-thin mechanical hand-wound movement with black PVD treatment and features “4N pink gold screws, sunray guilloché motif, main plate, and bridges beveled, drawn out with a file and circular-grained by hand“. The watch has been finished with a hand-stitched black alligator strap featuring a black PVD-coated 18-carat white gold pin buckle.
