Richard Mille Toubillon RM 022 Carbon compliments haute horlogerie

We were very pleased with French watch designer Richard Mille, when he created World’s most expensive sports prize last month and donated the proceeds to the One Drop Foundation. He’s paying tribute to high end technology in watching making with a new limited edition RM 022 Carbon watch that features “Aerodyne” Dual Time Zone”. This high-end technology is combined with orthorhombic honeycombed titanium aluminide and carbon nanofiber baseplate with an equally innovative, tough yet highly durable carbon nanotubes. The case of the RM 022 Carbon measures 50mm x 40mm x 16.15mm, which is significantly larger than the standard RM 022 case.

The Caliber RM022 is incorporated with a manual winding tourbillon movement featuring hours, minutes and dual time zone on a transparent sapphire crystal disc. The watch is produced in limited number of 5 pieces and will hit select store shelves in Europe, Middle East and Russia by July 2012.
