The Louis Vuitton Tambour Blue sports a contrasting black V on a canvas of deep blue

Launched in 2002, the Tambour line of chronographs from Louis Vuitton has been welcomed by brand loyalists, although it may not match the palettes of a few collectors. The brand and its work on these timepieces has borne testimony to craftsmanship and unforgivable style that is resonated through each rendition.

The freshly unveiled Tambour Blue doesn’t deviate too far from winning these accolades. The timepiece features a rich deep blue color on the dial, which is marked with the distinct back V. Available in highly contrasting brushed and polished metal finishes, the watches employ the ETA 2894.2 movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The date indicator is located between the 4th and the 5th hour marker on the right hand side of the dial. The dial is flanked by a black alligator and calf bi-material strap with blue highlights. The sapphire glass that sits atop the dial is reflection-proof, thus making reading the time a lot more comfortable at any time of the day. Last, but surely not the least, the watch is submergible up to 100 meters in water, making it durable for sports and adventure usage as well.
