Geneva based modern watch maker Urwerk presents their first ever watch for women, the UR-106 Lotus. This will be available in two limited edition models and is surrounded by an extensive “women in watches” campaign. The UR 106 Lotus is a smaller version of the core Urwerk case and dial concept and is decorated with diamonds. The basic version of the watch has its familiar design that is on the men’s watch but the case, movement and dial are newly designed for the women’s version. The case is in titanium with some parts in steel, the lines of the case are more curvy and feminine but still maintaining the Urwerk look.
The dial is typical to the brand, with satellites which indicate the hours as they pass along a linear scale for the minutes. They have no seconds indicator on the dial. The dial is symmetrical with the moon phase indicator in the center. The moon phase disc has a background of a beautiful lapis Lazuli.
They come in a dark and light option with just 11 pieces of each being created. This stunning piece will cost you approximately $88,100.
