When it comes to creating magnificently handsome watches, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Zenith knows all the right ingredients. Known for crafting avant-garde one-of-a-kind timepieces, Zenith has been mastering its trade since more than a century and a half now. The company’s most recent release is the Zenith Pilot Type 20 Squelette. What sets this wristwatch apart from its contemporaries is its extremely unique and meticulously crafted hand-skeletonized structure. The watch uses a case clad in sapphire with a blue enamelled white gold bezel. Sporting hand-engraved 18kt white gold lug as well as an 18kt white gold crown to top it all, this watch is a limited edition timepiece. Zenith has limited the production of the watch to just 5 pieces, making it extremely unique and rare.
The watch measures in at 60mm x 18.5mm and is water resistant to 30 meters. The crystals are AR-coated sapphires while the movement is a Swiss manual-wind Zenith in-house calibre 5011K, with 19 jewels, 18,000 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours. Based on a pocketwatch movement, this one boasts of a power reserve complication. The sapphire dial has blue transferred Arabic numerals blued gold hands. To complement the watch, a black alligator leather strap keeps it on your wrist with an 18kt white gold pin buckle to keep it fastened sturdily.
