50-year-old Macallan single malt is up for $21,000

Whiskeys can’t get finer than Macallan. We’ve heard of Macallan Linley whiskey cases and $54,000 scotches at Macallan before. Another of these fine whiskeys will be auctioned of at McTear’s auction in Glasgow, Scotland. Around 700 rare and fine whiskeys will be displayed at the auction, all of which are exclusive and collectible. Among these will be the 50-year-old single malt Macallan, estimated to fetch £14,000 ($21,000).

Besides this, Macallan will also be part of the six bottles of the Exceptional Single Cask Range, with an estimated price tag of £1,500 to £2,500. A 40-year-old bottle estimated at £3000 to £4000 and a 50-year-old, rare and exclusive, estimated at £10,000 to £14,000 will also be featured for auction.
