A 1996 Louis Vuitton Backpack with an attached umbrella is up for sale

Sure, its classy to have a little slave carry an umbrella over your head while confusedly matching your pace. But, just imagine a world where you could do that by yourself without losing an ounce of your class. Yup that’s right! And making this happen for you is French fashion label Louis Vuitton that recently unveiled a luxe backpack which comes with an equally luxe umbrella attached to it.

The little creation is part of the brand’s exclusive “Shopping in the rain” edition from 1996 and is now ready to be sold at the upcoming ‘25th anniversary sale’ at Christie’s. It is estimated to fetch anywhere between $1,500 and $2,000 USD, a tag that’s presumably a hundred times X the umbrella currently lying in your backyard. The LV wonder features a brown and beige monogram coated canvas and comes with a slip pocket, a card slot and an umbrella mechanism at interior. It further accommodates adjustable round straps and a sleek two-way zip.

The umbrella on the other hand, showcases a wooden handle, an automatic open button and a snap strap closure. It also includes a cover and a chic Christie’s dust bag. Though preowned, the bag cum umbrella are apparently in mint condition and have been verified exclusively by Re-SEE for authenticity and quality. The LV creation will be sold as part of an limited online collection at Barney’s New York.
