This Valentine’s one girl would have been a fortunate woman with a 78 carat rough diamond as a gift. That is a hypothetical situation, of course, whether a woman got such a gift, but the part of the diamond is true. It is claimed to be the most significant find by the BHP Billiton Ekati Mine in Canada, which was sold for a whopping $6 million in Belgium to s rich stranger. The auction was held in a private function for a special guest list of just 70 buyers. The diamond, called Ekati Spirit, measures 21 by 18 by 13 MMS. The sale was made on Valentine’s Day – aptly matching the occasion.
