Even in his death, the famous French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, who died at the age of 71 in June, 2008 ensured a good return on his artifacts! After his art, antiques, furniture and personal belongings were sold in an auction for over $700 million, it is the turn of his house to go under the hammer.
The famed couturier’s duplex which is located on the Rue de Babylone, Paris which he shared with his longtime partner Pierre Bergé, is now up for sale as well. This beautiful mansion spreads over 5,400-sq.-ft. and has a huge garden attached to it. It is listed with Emilie Garcin, a prestigious Paris-based agency and is touted to fetch a minimum of $30 million as per the WWD reports.
