What do you get when you mix the world’s best-tasting vodka with a biggie shoe brand? Well, this time, it’s the Grey Goose Winter Ball to aid the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Two of the best brands in their sphere Grey Goose and Christian Louboutin, have come up with a stunning dream cocktail bar that went under the hammer at the Winter Ball last weekend. Shaped like a classic Louboutin stiletto turned on its side, the bar has been topped with a high shine black gloss bar top, with a lacquered Pantone 186c back.
Along with the auction, Grey Goose had designed special cocktails that captured Louboutin’s flair served to guests on the Grey Goose Red Carpet. The sour drink consisted of Grey Goose Le Citron, tart French raspberries, cherries, and goji berry liqueur, finished with pepper and ginger touch. The glasses sported a “needle and thread representing the architecture involved in Louboutin’s work and the exquisite French craftsmanship.”
