Pet fashion is the next big thing. Dog lovers are pulling out all stops when it comes to pampering their pets. Today many big names in fashion have forayed into the world of doggy fashion. The latest buzz from the doggy fashion world is about a charity auction at eBay. The Pug Dogs for Happy Kids charity auction in support of UNICEF Project Arise, benefiting street children in Bangladesh, has brought together 21 labels that went all out creating outfits for a toy dog. The twenty-one pug dogs are customized exclusively for Luisa Via Roma by selecting the most prominent international luxury fashion designers!
The bidding for these stuffed fashion fur balls will be on till May 6, so if you think you need a fashionable toy dog instead of wasting time trying to get your pooch to dress up then maybe this auction is for you. What is more, names like Valentino, Missoni and Roberto Cavalli, are among the 21 fashion labels who have contributed towards this cause.
What is more, bidding for three of the outfits has already exceeded $1300! Other big names contributing to this cause include Indian designer Manish Arora, Roberto Cavalli who have added their own unique touch to each pug. While Roberto Cavalli has given a rock edge to the design, Arora creates a bright bold design.
My favorite is the one by Missoni who has made the dog flaunt a multicolor jumpsuit in loop stitch. Mugler has created another eye catching outfit by making the pug flaunt a a zombie crystal mask and pearl corset.
