TThe last Ferrari F430 is all set to be put up on auction even before it rolls out of the factory later this year. Earlier this week, Ferrari announced that the rights to the last F430 will be sold off at the RM auction and all proceeds shall go to the earth-quake ravaged Abruzzo region. As homage to the city of Aquila-the hardest hit by earthquake that hit Italy on March 30, the last F430 will be embellished with a special Gold and Silver paint scheme, representing the traditional colors of the city. The winning bidder will also receive a certificate signed by Ferrari chairman Luca Di Montezemolo, along with a commemorative plague. Other perks include the final say on the rest of the F430 specs and access to Ferrari’s Carrozzeria Scaglietti catalog.
The Ferrari F430 which has been in production since 2004, has also had speculative rumors of being replaced. The announcement officially marks the end of the F430; nevertheless, we can manage to get a last look if it features at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
