Flannels marks 35th anniversary with unique mannequin auction to benefit The Christie


Flannels is turning 35 and to mark this grand anniversary, The Flannels Group is hosting a designer auction. The auction Flannels Creates will be hosted with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust on Thursday 29th November 2012 at the Flannels Spinningfields store & The Oast House in Manchester. The auction is an extravagant affair with a unique collection of 40 mannequins created by designer brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Gucci, Paul Smith, Matthew Williamson, By Malene Birger, 2nd Day and Raoul with 10 pieces to be exclusively auctioned on the evening. Each mannequin is unique and depicts its brand style. The one-off creations have been created especially for this event.

The evening will begin with guests enjoying a champagne reception followed by a fashion exhibition and raffle prize draw. Guests will have a chance to win a £2,000 wardrobe at Flannels and a £7,500 Prada handbag. Guests will also be treated to goodie bags and after party drinks in the Tepee. The auction aims to raise £50,000 to help cancer patients at The Christie, a specialist cancer center based in Manchester.
