Some interesting facts about The Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea is its similarity to the original model LeCoultre Special Amerique 1959. The stainless steel case on the newer watch has been slightly oversized for current trends and is topped by Plexiglas, and is water-resistant. The original frogman motif adorns the back of the case. Features such as hours, minutes, central seconds, alarm, however, are similar to the original watch.
Watch collectors interested in participating are required to pre-register. The auction will be held on April 18th through April 21st online at the watch manufacturer’s website.
