Lady Gaga’s shoe to go under the hammer

Pop diva, Lady Gaga is known as much for her quirky sense of fashion as she is for her music. The singing sensation has a unique fashion style that reflects her unique personality. While not many can pull off the styles she flaunts, her fans still would give anything to own a piece of this singing star’s wardrobe. Well, if you are one such fan wanting to grab your very own piece of Lady Gaga memorabilia, then here is your chance. Auction house Drouot Richelieu will auction a single Emporio Armani silver-colored platform shoe that the artist threw into the crowd at a Paris concert in 2010. The shoe promises to be a showstopper at this auction which is slated to be held on Feb. 11, 2013.

The unique shoe is expected to fetch anywhere between 4,000 euros and 5,000 euros, or $5,193 and $6,491 at the current exchange. It will be part of auction firm Cornette de Saint Cyr’s fifth L’Homme et son Univers sale. Besides the shoes, bidders will also have the chance to bid for a Maddest Hatter Los Angeles black felt fedora made for Michael Jackson in 1984, a writing set owned by Marilyn Monroe and an Hermès Birkin bag that once belonged to Hermine de Clermont-Tonnerre (expected to fetch between $32,456 and $38,948).
